Manuscript description
(Al-Adab Al-mofrada) is a manuscript classified under the sciences of hadith. For its author, Al-Bukhari, Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim, who died in 256 Hijiri. And it was transcribed by Abdul Aziz bin Saleh Al-Sayrami in Al-Naskh font script on Sunday, 3 Sha’ban 1278 AH. The number of papers was 146, and the number of lines was 18, with a size of 22 x 16 cm. The manuscript begins with: (Chapter on the saying of Allah Almighty (We have enjoined on man kindness to parents) Abu Nasr Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Al-Hussain bin Hamid bin Harun told us. I asked the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, which deed is most beloved to Allah Almighty. He said: “Praying on time.” I said, “Then which one?” He said, “Then honoring one’s parents.) and it ended with: (.. Chapter: Do not hate you and harm. Saeed Ibn Abi Maryam told us.. On the authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab, he said: Neither your love should be a burden nor your hatred should lead to hurt, so I said how, he replied, “If you love, you will be burdened with a boy’s burden, and if you hate, you will love the harm to your friend at the end.”). It was owned by Ahmed bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al-Rajbani, then Noura, the daughter of Imam Faisal bin Turki, and she made it an endowment for the sake of Allah on the 19th of Ramadan 1278 Hijiri. It was written in black ink and red ink was used for the heads of the chapters and the repeated word “Told us”.
