Manuscript Description:

A rule in worship is a manuscript classified under the sciences of belief (Al-Aqidah). Written by Ibn Taymiyyah, Ahmed bin Abdul Halim bin Abdul Salam, who died in the year 728 Hijiri. And transcribed in Al-Naskh font script in the thirteenth century AH. The number of papers was 12, the number of lines was 22, and the size of 19 × 14.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (Praise be to Allah, we praise Him, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness, we seek His guidance, and we seek refuge in God from the evils of ourselves... A chapter on worship and the difference between its legitimacy and its initiation, for this is a chapter in which there is much confusion...) And the end of the manuscript: (...as well as charity and other acts of worship, God Almighty made them reasons for obtaining good and repelling evil if the servant did them initially. As for what he was miserly doing on the basis of a vow, it does not bring him any benefit ... He gives on the vow what he would not have given without it. Done.). The transcriber indicated that he copied it from a copy transcribed from another copy with the author’s handwriting on it, bearing the endowment stamp of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Latif, black ink was used in writing, and what is intended to be distinguished was written in red, and its covering is modern.
