Manuscript Description:

(Hal Al Mojaz) is a manuscript classified within the sciences of medicine. It was written by Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Qasra’i (died 775 AH), and it was copied by Mahmud, who is known by Alawi Al Kafi in the Nasta’liq script, on Friday of Rabi Al-Thani 974 AH. The number of papers was 155, the number of lines was 30, and the size was 26 x 16.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace upon our master Mohammad and upon all his kin and companions; now, Medical science is an honorable science due to the honor of its subject, the reliability of its evidence, and the great need for it....), and the end of the manuscript: (...And medicines are one weight in honey, and sugar is four weights, and God Almighty knows best... The beholder is hoped to correct what is wrong with him, and God Almighty will reward him, and praise be to God Almighty and His favor). This manuscript was written in black ink and some phrases in red, it has a commentary, in the margins there are comments and corrections, its brochures are disjointed, in its beginning there an allocate note (the Almighty God allocated Abdul Azim) and on the cover page a record (This book was allocated by our late grandfather Mullah Abdul Azim bin Azim Al-Din Al-Hakim and is now in the possession of Abd al-Rahman, son of his daughter.
