(Mirqat al-Maftah for Miskat al-Mashat) is a manuscript classified under the sciences of hadith. Written by Ali Al-Qari, Ali bin Muhammad Al-Harawi, Al-Mulla, who died in the year 1014 Hijiri. It was transcribed by Hassan bin Muhammad Al-Shazly in Al-Naskh font script on Friday, Jumada Al-Awwal 3, 1073 Hijiri. The number of papers is 387, the number of lines is 25, and the size is 19 x 14 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (Praise be to Allah, who opened the hearts of scholars with the keys of faith... as was the book "Mishkat al-Masabih" which was composed by Mawlana... the warm mind attached to reading it...) and the end of the manuscript: (.... and praise be to Allah who raised us among the Muslims...and praise be to Allah, whose with his grace good deeds are accomplished..) And this is a good copy, on it the ownership of Musa bin Ibrahim Al-Nazir in Dar Al-Shifa in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, dated 1100 Hijiri, Then he owned the copy, and Muhammad bin Saleh bin Shalhoub gave it to Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Latif, and the endowment's writer Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad bin Khudhair witnessed to it on 1338 AH, it has traces of moisture, black ink was used in writing, and red was used for what is to be distinguished.
