Tabaqat al-Hafiz is a manuscript classified under the sciences of translation. It was written by Al-Jalal Al-Suyuti, Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr bin Muhammad, who died in 911 Hijiri. It was transcribed by Othman bin Abdul Aziz bin Mansour Al-Tamimi in Al-Naskh font script on Friday, Rabi` Al-Awwal 13, 1256 Hijiri. The number of papers reached 77, the number of lines is 24-29, and the size is 21.5 x 15.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (Praise be to Allah, who has bestowed favors, bestowed, empowered, granted, transformed, and opened the doors of knowledge for those on whom we can depend upon... As for what follows, this is a book of Tabaqat al-Hafiz that I summarized from the Tabaqat Al imam Al-Hefaz Abu Abdullah al-Dhahabi...) and the end of the manuscript: (... Ibn Hajar, the sheikh of Islam, Al imam Al-Hefaz... and after him this door was closed and he sealed this matter ... So he sang about that??????????? ; The clouds wept over the judges with rain, and the corner that was built of stone was torn down) and it is a good copy on which Imam Abdullah bin Faisal was endowed, and the transcriber described the copy he was transcribing from as being a water-stained copy and it was difficult to read, written in the year 1087 Hijiri written in black ink while the names of the translators and commas were written in red.
