Al-Iqnaa for Taleb Al-utfa’
Manuscript Description:
(Al-Iqnaa for Taleb Al-utfa’) is a manuscript classified under the Hanbali jurisprudence. For its author, Al-Hijjawi Musa bin Ahmed bin Musa, who died in 968 Hijiri. And it was transcribed by Muhammad bin Husayn Al-Baali in Al-Naskh font on Wednesday 5 Shawwal 1000 Hijiri. The number of papers was 331, and the number of lines was 29, measuring 29 x 19.5 cm. The manuscript begins with: (Praise be to God, who gave jurisprudence to whomever wanted good in his religion, and legislated the rulings of what is permissible and what is forbidden in his clear book... As for what follows, this is a book on jurisprudence based on a school of thought of Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Hanbal Al Shaibani...). And it ends with: (...... Chapter, and if he says to him between one dirham and ten dirhams, he must pay eight ... And if he acknowledges an orchard, it includes trees, and if he acknowledges a tree, it includes branches, and God knows best.). It is a corresponding copy, with an index to the chapters at the beginning of the book, bearing a stamp dated in 1195 AH under the name of Muhammad Ibrahim and owned by Abd al-Razzaq ibn Muhammad al-Da’el and borrowed by Mishaan ibn Nasser al-Mansur in 1348 AH. It is a waqf (charitable trust) for Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim, there are traces of dirt and moisture at its beginning, written in black ink, and the heads of the chapters and sections are in red ink.
