Manuscript Description:

Al-Jami’ al-Sahih (P2) is a manuscript classified under the sciences of hadith by its author, Muhammad ibn Ismail ibn Ibrahim, who died in 256 Hijiri. It was transcribed by Abd al-Rahman ibn Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Qadir ibn al-Najjar al-Ansari, in Shaped Naskh font scribt on Sunday 15 Rabi’ al-Akhir The year 1190 Hijiri. The number of papers is 159, and the number of lines is 27, with a size of 31.5 x 22 cm. Beginning of the manuscript is: (Chapter of preemption unless it is divided, and if the boundaries were crossed, then there is no preemption. Musaddad told us, from Abd al-Wahed, from Muammar, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah... He said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, decided by preemption in everything that was not divided.) And the end of the manuscript: (...Chapter of what the Prophet, may Allah blesses him and grant him peace, said: Turn to their benefactors and overlook their transgressors. Muhammad bin Yahya told me... Muhammad bin Bashar told us... On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said the Ansar are the place of my secret and my trust, and those on whom i depend in matters... The first half is done.” This is the second part and with it the first half is completed, and what was said describing the first part is true in describing this part and the rest of the parts as well.
