Al-Muqni fi Sharh Mukhtasar Al-Kharqi is a manuscript classified under the Hanbali jurisprudence. It was written by Ibn al-Banna, al-Hasan bin Ahmed bin Abdullah, who died in 471 Hijiri and was transcribed in Al-Naskh font script in the ninth century Hijiri. The number of papers was 180, the number of lines was 25, and the size of 23.5 × 16 cm. The manuscript begins with: (Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and the heavens is for the righteous, and may God’s peace be upon the Last of the Messengers... As for what follows may the mighty Allah be on your side and strengthen your proof... This is a nice summary in the explanation of Al-Kharqi…) and ends with: (... The Book of Freeing Mothers of Children, which is fourteen questions ... The fourteenth, said that if the mother of the child killed her master, then she could be guaranteed by the much value of herself ... and would not be guarantee more than her value ... The book is done. And our God is the praiseworthy and His is the bounty, the highest, and the generosity.) The copy is precious, what fell from the first edition was completed later on in a different font and paper, on the margins are explanations and we say from the book of Al-Mughni by Ibn Qudamah, it was owned by Zaid bin Abdullah Al-Shukri, then it was owned by Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Al-Sheikh, dated in 1298 Hijiri, and it is the endowment of King Abdulaziz Ali Students of knowledge, dated 1350 Hijiri, it has traces of wetness from what has been eroded and restored. It was written in black ink, and red was used for what is intended to be distinguished.
