Manuscript Description:

Jamhrat Al-Amsal is a manuscript in Arabic literature. It was written by Abu Hilal Al-Askari, Al-Hasan bin Abdullah bin Sahl, who died in 395 Hijiri, and was copied in the Naskh script on the 9th of Ramadan 1097 Hijiri. The number of papers was 179, the number of lines was 20, and the size was 19.5 x 14 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (He calls hearts to awareness, and motivates them to memorize it... Proverbs are also a type of knowledge with a single text... And when I saw the need for it, I resolved to bring its paths closer and summarize its course... We begin by mentioning the derivation of the proverb...) and the end of the manuscript: (The necessary proverbs in forbiddance and exaggeration, the reality in its early origins, the alphabet "ي" is easier than Luqman... Abu Hilal completed Whatever comes to hand [blank] in this book, and we ask God Almighty to benefit [blank] and that, God willing,). And is a good copy from which the first page was dropped, with corrections and comments on its margins, and the author indicated that he put in the footnote tales and poems suitable to be proverbs, and some of its papers are corroded at the edges, and the transcriber did not finish writing what he wanted to distinguish in red, its owned by Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Sabri, and a seal and endowment of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Latif.
