Manuscript Description:

(Kashf Talbees Daoud Ibn Jarjis) is a manuscript classified under the sciences of faith (Al-Aqidah). Written by: Abu Bateen, Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman, who died in 1282 Hijiri. It was transcribed in Al-Naskh font script in the thirteenth century Hijiri. The number of papers reached 87, and the number of lines was 17, with a size of 16.5 x 10.5 cm. The manuscript begins: Praise be to Allah. We praise Him, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness, we repent to Him, and we seek refuge in God from the evils of ourselves... As for what follows, during the sixty-eight years a man named Dawood bin Suleiman al-Baghdadi came to us with some of the books of the doctrine...” and it ended with:" ...And he sat crying, and he was asked, What makes you cry, Abu Saeed? He said, "You blame me for crying, and if a man from the immigrants came out of the door of your mosque, he would not know anything of what he was during the era of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, you are upon him except for this distention of yours, and may Allah help us." There are corrections on the margins, and on it there is an ownership by Ibrahim bin Saleh bin Ibrahim bin Issa, dated 1323 Hijiri, and he gave it to Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Latif, it was written in black ink, and what is intended to be distinguished was written in red and at the end of it he wrote in yellow, followed by two letters by the same author.
