Massala fi al-Sifat

Manuscript Description:

Massala fi al-Sifat is a manuscript classified within the sciences of belief (Al-Aqidah). Written by Ibn Muammar, Hamad bin Nasser bin Othman, who died in the year 1255 Hijiri. This copy is transcribed in Al-Naskh font script in the thirteenth century AH. The number of papers was 36, and the number of lines was 21, measuring 22 x 15.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: (Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds... What would you say... about the verses of Qualities and the hadiths mentioned in that, such as His saying (The Most Merciful has risen above the Throne)... So tell us about the belief of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab... and your doctrine after him... The answer... Our saying...in that is what Allah and His Messenger said...)... so tell us about the belief of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab... and your doctrine after him... The answer... Our saying... In that is what God and His Messenger said...) And the end of the manuscript: (... It is known that this belief that we have described related to our Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab and his followers is the true belief ... Rather, the doctrine of the predecessors is safer, more knowledgeable and wiser, as stated previously. We ask Allah to guide us and our brothers to the straight path ... Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.) Within a collection from p. 1 to p. 72, with traces of dirt on it, written in black ink, and what is intended to be distinguished was written in red. This collection was interrogated by Muhammad ibn Salih ibn Shalhoub and reviewed by Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Latif and the endowment was written by Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Khudair in the year 1338 AH.
