Manuscript Description:

Sharh Al-Kawkab Al-Munir Al-Mukhtasar Men Ketab Al-Tahrir is a manuscript in Hanbali jurisprudence. It was written by Ibn Al-Najjar, Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, who died in 972 AH and was copied in Naskh script on Wednesday 16 Rabi' al-Akhir 1275 AH by Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad bin Fawzan. The number of papers was 224, and the number of lines was 27, with a size of 17.5 x 24 cm. The beginning of the manuscript is as follows: All Praise is due to Allah, who comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge, and gives whomever He wills of His servants a great gift …, this is a comment on what I summarized from Ketab Al-Tahrir... the classification of the imam ... Al-Mardawi ...”, and the ending “And details, i.e., the details of weighting are not limited, because the paths of assumptions which includes the preponderance and weighting are very many... and this is the last thing that Allah-the Almighty -has meant by his summary of Al-Tahrir... and There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the most High, the Great.” Copied from a copy written in 1137 AH by Abd al-Hayy ibn Abd al-Rahim al-Hanbali, and it is annexed by several seals, one of which belongs to Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Mani’, dated 1281 AH, another is of Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Awn and there is an endowment seal that goes to Abdullah ibn Hamad al-Rajbani, dated 1300 AH. , at the hands of his brother Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Rahbani, and Saleh bin Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Ali Magriban and Ibrahim bin Saad bin Hammad witnessed this. The text was written in red ink and the explanation in black.
