Sharh al-Muqni’ (V8)

Manuscript Description:

Sharh al-Muqni’ (V8) is a manuscript classified within Hanbali Fiqh by its author, Ibn Qudamah, Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad, who died in 682 AH. It was copied in Naskh font in the ninth century AH. The number of papers was 222 sheets, the number of lines was 25, and the size was 21.5 × 16 cm. Beginning of the manuscript: in question, whenever the master refrains from his obligations, the slave asks for a sale, he must sell it. To conclude, if the master refrains from his obligations towards the slave, such as expenditure or clothing...) End of the manuscript: (... A chapter on penance for an oath. The Sheikh, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said that it is collected by choice and arranged. The basis for penance for an oath is the Holy Quran and Sunnah... Ibn Umar, Ataa and Tawus said... A dress is sufficient, and they did not differentiate between a man and a woman. It was narrated that is said by al-Hasan.) An antique copy missing the last part, representing the eighth volume, on the title sheet mentioned the chapters of the book in possession of Muhammad bin Yunus al-Qudsi, dated 844 AH, and possession by which the insects destroyed, and another obliterated. On the second paper the possession of Zaid bin Muhammad al-Sulaiman, it has traces of stains and on the margin some comments, uses in writing a black ink, some words highlighted in red.
